In Matthew 25, Jesus is talking about the time when the Son of Man
returns in his glory. Jesus is speaking that those who clothed him when
He was naked, gave him water when he was thirsty, provided him with
foof when he was hungry. The disciples never saw Jesus when he had
needed clothes, or was thirsty, or hungry. In verse 40 Jesus tells
them, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least
of these, you did not do for me." During the Wedensday evening Bible Study on January 18, members of Grace Community Church assembled care packages with snacks and personal care items, as well as a handwritten Bible verse for providing comfort to the "least of these" that Jesus spoke about. As Jesus said, what we do for the least of these, we do for him. |
